Andy Burnham's recent proposal for deeper Scottish devolution has been criticized as a mistake. The offer comes amid ongoing discussions about Scottish independence and devolution. Burnham has invited Nicola Sturgeon to work together on this issue. However, critics argue that the timing of the proposal is ill-timed given the ongoing debates. Some commentators have suggested that Burnham's move could hurt the chances of a peaceful resolution to the current political tensions in Scotland. Others argue that the proposal could further strain relations between the UK government and the Scottish administration. The controversial proposal has also raised questions about Burnham's tactical intentions and whether he is aiming to capitalize on the ongoing negotiations.
